Jazz went missing Wednesday, December 28, 2005 when he was just 15 months old. He was found in our neighbors shed 3 1/2 weeks later on Saturday, January 21, 2006. He was very cold, shivering, and extremely thin and hungry. I could see his ribs through his fur. He smelled of sawdust. When we got him in the house we fed him immediately and he followed us around everywhere we went. He wouldn't let us out of his sight. This was the sign we posted on four corner streets to try and find him. I slept on an air mattress holding his favorite toy kitten by the door he usually came in at night until his return.
Jazz hadn't slept on this fluffy bed since he was very young until the night he returned. He also hadn't liked to be covered over with a blanket until his return. Paige and Harrison were very loving taking care of him while I was out of the room. Pics of Jazz taken Sunday the 22nd.
